Mr. Healy has practiced law in Albany since 1979 when he joined the firm. His practice emphasizes all aspects of small business and corporate matters.
Business & Corporate
Mr. Healy represents a wide range of business and corporate clients. His clients include farm implement dealers, farmers, telephone and telecommunication companies, trucking companies, construction companies, as well other clients typical of a rural mid-sized community. These clients range from small sole proprietorships to larger multi-million dollar corporations. Mr. Healy has assisted clients in all phases of their business from their initial formation or acquisition, ongoing advice and support, up to and including complete corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Mergers & Acquisitions
Mr. Healy has represented many clients in a variety of merger and acquisition transactions. These mergers have ranged from small companies joining forces to better serve the local community, to entrepreneurs and "start up" companies being acquired by corporations listed on the New York Stock and NASDAQ stock exchanges.
Business Litigation
Mr. Healy maintains an active business litigation practice. This portion of his practice includes shareholder disputes, corporate dissolution disputes, employment disputes, lien foreclosures, as well as other matters generally encountered by businesses in today's environment.
